Miroslav Ondricek, ASC will receive the 2004
ASC International Achievement Award which is presented annually
to an individual who has made enduring contributions to advancing
the global art of filmmaking. Miroslav is an native of Prague,
where he began his career. His body of work includes Slaughterhouse-Five,
Hair, Silkwood, A League of Their Own
and Valmont. He earned Oscar nominations for Ragtime
and Amadeus. During the coming weeks and months we will
reveal recipients of three other special awards, and nominees
in the 2004 Outstanding ASC Achievement Awards.
