ASC and American Cinematographer News

  • American Cinematographer magazine earned the top EDDIE (FORMERLY THE EDITORIAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS) in the Entertainment Business to Business category on October 28 in New York City. It's the third top Folio prize American Cinematographer has won since 1996.
Nominees are held up to standards set by their own editors and are not competing against one another. Each entry is judged on how well it articulates and adheres to its editorial mission statement. Winners are determined by comparing the judges’ evaluations of each title’s fulfillment of its mission, the quality of its content, and—to a lesser extent—its overall design and production.
