ASC, Apple Help Members Take a Bite out of Final Cut Pro 4
On Aug. 15-16, the ASC teamed up with Film/Video Equipment Service of Colorado and Apple Computer to host a hands-on workshop for Apple's Final Cut Pro 4 at the ASC Clubhouse.

Nearly 60 ASC members attended the training – which was designed to help cinematographers learn how to compile a reel, make color corrections, import from different mediums and other tasks specific to the craft.

The session mirrored a seminar held at the ASC Clubhouse on June 4. Filmmaker Scot Barbour – who acts as a liason between Apple and the film community – presided over both events. The ASC, Apple and Film/Video Equipment Service are discussing plans to conduct similar training for ASC members in the future.
